HP DesignJet 755cm large format plotting

Hi All,

I'm trying to plot a large full size layout,

I want to break the plot into long 36" x whatever

strips and paste them together on the floor.

I'm using xp pro & MC9 and a HP DesignJet755CM plotter but I can't find custom paper sizes anymore either in the MC screen plot setup or printer controll panel set up.

When I was using Win98 there was always custom paper sizes available in the set ups. Now there is a whole S*load of paper sizes to pick from but no custom.

Anybody using this plotter with XP and know what I'm doing wrong or is the XP driver not have custom available anymore?

We had a 750C a long time ago, but that was before XP and MC9. Sorry.

You could always try the Win 2000 driver. Most of those I found work with XP.

Did you get the driver from XP or HP?

We tried the downloadable one from HP site.

Didn't have custom.

Were going to look for the one the draftsmen used

with the latest ACAD.

I have a 550...it may not be the same but on the bottom of the paper sizes drop down is a line that says <>...you can use this to create a custom size....

I have always found the HP-GL/2 driver to work the best reguardless of plotter model. However, I do not have XP.

Update:

I got it to work using the HP755CM/PS driver

that is in XP. When I get time I'll try the

HP-GL/2 and see what else I can find.
