work offsets tranform toolpath

Hi Folks

Trying to set up a 2 part jop. I want to cut the same part in 2 vices. Looking at the tranform toolpath I should be able to copy my ops to a diferent toolplane and ouput the code with a difering ofset. I get it to post except for the offsets. using the mpmaster post on a haas.

What am i doing wrong?

In the Transform operations Parameters - Types and Methods page, there is a Work offset numbering section, try clicking on the radio button for Assign new and set your numbering increment.

Tried that it gives me G54.1 for the frist part and G54.1 P49 for the second. What I want is G54 for the first and G55 for the second.

It was designed to do what you are asking, It requires only one part to be programed then when posting it will as how may iterations of the part you want to make, incrementing the work offset. The part program is called as a sub.

What's the value you're starting the Work Offsets at? When using the transform operation with Tool plane and Assign New in offsets, set the start offset value to "0" and the increment value to "1". This will produce a G54 for the first instance of your part and a G55 for the second. HTH
