solidworks 2004

Need a little help guys,

What do you do to import drawings from solidworks 2004 into MasterCam? Is there a special download or do I need to buy some software?

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you cant import the drw files Sharon, but if you can save them as dwg from solidworks then you can bring them in

Sharon, if you use the mcdirect you can import the drawing into cam. The link below should take you to the patch. I have tried it a couple of times with success but I don't use it very often.

Hows the semester goin?

So far so good this semester. I have three race car guys who are pushing the envelope this time so that is why I am in the forum so much. It forces me to learn new things so I am not complaining. We have changed the machining program and now it is a subset of the Mechanical Engineering program along with the drafting and manufacturing programs. I think it will work out for everyone.

 

Are you going to be at the AIMS meeting in April?
