hasp not FOUND!

I have just set up my new system and and transferred my hasp to the new system and the port is working because I can print, but when I loaded MC and tried to run it I get hasp not found. I ran hasp.exe and it doesn't show up?????

What is going on? Am I missing something?

Get the latest HASP driver from your dealer. That should take care of it.

Forget what I just said, the driver can be found in the "patches" section here on the forum.

Have you tried running the hdd32.exe file in your mcam8commom folder? It is the Hasp setup utility that loads the drivers for your port.

I had this same problem when I converted over to my new system running Win2k last friday. After running the hdd32.exe file, my HASP was still not found, so I called Mcam tech support and they mailed me a new driver that fixed my problem.

I just mailed it to you and you should have it by the time you read this. Good Luck - hope it helps!

when your computer boots up it gives you the option of going into your system setup. go there and make sure your lpt port is set to common or compatable. it is probably set to ECP or EPP.

changed the setting to AT and it worked .Thanks so much. Now I can get back to work.
