problems using windows xp

That's a new one.

We have XP Pro on our shop pc and no problems like that have happened.

 

Maybe try to re-install Mastercam and see what happens.

Also make sure that you have all of the updates for XP,your video card drivers,and Mastercams newest patches?

So danielp... when you start Mastercam, and for example, press Create in the left hand menu, pressing the Escape key doesn't take you back to the "Main Menu". Is that correct?

 

From the Main Menu, you can press "C", "A" and "2" as keyboard shortcuts to get to the function Create, Arc, Circ 2pts. Just confirm for us please, that pressing "2" doesn't get you into that specific feature. Are the numbers not working either above the keyboard or on the number pad on the right hand side?
