when THESE ARE DISPLAYED Do they represent the t-plane,,c-plane and wcs plane?

If so which is which?

I am trying to rotate one of my planes because I am getting the famous "only single axis rotation allowed" and I believe the problem is thay are not all going the same way.Am I on the right track? This is a Horiz app.

Thanks

Stan

for the "only single axis rotation allowed" problem, make sure your rotary axis doesn't change. In other words, for rotating around 'X', like a A axis VMC, X should never change. If your post is a mpfan style HMC post, then your 'Y' should never change, Except that the would be parallel to the system Z.

Usually when I make a HMC post, I'll set it up to start in Top and do all the rotating around the system Y.

That's the way that I would do it, but most posts are setup to start in the Front plane and rotate around the system Z.

In mpfan there is a 'switch' at the top to set it to VMC or HMC.

code:

vmc : 1 #0 = Horizontal Machine, 1 = Vertical Mill

For a Horizontal, I'll set my post to VMC and then set axis to Y instead of X.

code:

rot_on_x : 1 #Default Rotary Axis Orientation, See ques. 164.

#0 = Off, 1 = About X, 2 = About Y, 3 = About Z
