OP file question

I did the proper conversion of the DF9 OP file from 9 to X and the tool TL9 tool file configuration settings. recognized the tools no problem but in all my tool paths it failed to import my preset depth cuts, clearance heights, etc, etc...... anyone maybe tell me why ?? there are selected in my current machine definition profile. thanks...

i also have the same problem...and started a topic titled "lathe defaults in X not working" but so far noone has been able to help me...

oh well if all else fails I will go back in and re establish the settigns manually. I hate doing things manually....lolololol.. thanks for your reply...

i reported this to [email protected] and they have recorded it as a bug...

Is there still a "Compress" option for your libraries? Did you try it?

 

It seemed to fix some buggy things in V9.

not exactly sure what you a refering to...enlighten me please...

In V9, Main menu-NC utils-Def ops-Compress. Any time I made changes to my tool or ops library, weird things, like changes not sticking, could be fixed by compressing the library. I'm not sure if that feature is in X.
