elad,

I used to have a small photo of me on our web site. But now I have my kid's football team on the site (and maybe I'll finally get around to updating it tonight!). Need some recent photos...

check it out: http://people.we.mediaone.net/kathyrich

If you look at the photo page from Gameday 2000, top left, you will see my son getting ready to play some 'killer' defensive end! biggrin.gif

I had a fall from a ladder during the weekend and may have blown my left knee, an MRI tomorrow will tell the story. But it gave me some time to set up a link to and upload a picture of my wife and myself

Sorry to hear about the fall Bob. frown.gif

Spaces and special characters used in URLs creates problems for inline images. Bob has used a double protocol reference http://ftp:// his profile image link. I'm also not sure about the + sign in the file name.

Also cadcam's site uses spaces in the directory path structure. OK for downloads straight from the site, bad for links and inline images. Something to consider if an overhaul is planned at some point.

Dave

I had no idea I was doing anything out of the ordinary.

quote:

To add your picture to your profile, dump and image somewhere out on the Internet - web or ftp, and note the URL. Instructions on accessing cadcam's FTP site are located at the top of the entry page to the forum.

Then click on 'my profile' and enter the URL for your image.

That URL is http://www.pbcon.com/bob/pix/bobrose.jpg Check the domain out as we do web work or that is my brother does he's a retired physics professor trying to make a few extra bucks. Please remove at least one of the files I uploaded to save space.

Bob - You're right - the directions were wrong. On your profile page the link has to be http:// based. If you change it to ftp:// the UBB automatically adds the http:// back in.

So the images for the profile have to be on a web site, rather than an FTP site.
