No feed with drill cycle X

I'm getting a 0 feed rate in my posted code with my drill cycles.

N14500 G81 G99 X9. Y-2.4713 Z-.4 R.1 F0.

I specified 10 ipm, 20 ipm does not matter. I can change the feed rate but the plunge rate is greyed out for the drill parameters.

I'm also getting a .err file the same name as my posted code when I post a program. I can't open it so I have no idea what is in there.

Any ideas where to look to fix this issue?

This is the file that gets output as a seperate file with label .err. No big deal, I just delete it but why is it being output and can I turn it off?

DaveR,

To limit the err files.

Go into

control.def>files>

go to the "posting error file" section

change keep error file "On fatal errors"

Message option "All error messages to screen"

Then you should only see them when something goes terribly wrong.

my guess is that you are picking a solid. I have the same issue. Create a point or edge curve & pick that.

Having the same problem here.

Anyone figured out a fix for that, or is CNC Software working on it ?
