I just realized the tc planes is no longer in X. There is somthing called planes under the operations manager, but this is not at all what im looking for. I use multiple work offsets in the same program, and I do this using tc planes in 9, but in 10 when I change the planes box, under operation parameters, it changes the workoffset for all operations, where is the tc planes at now, or how do i use multi offsets in same program

Make copy of the tool plane you're using, assign a different workoffset to it and use the copy for the operations that require a diffent work

offset.

I was lost in X planes when I first started, but after using it a while I think its an improvement

on V9.

I miss being able to hit View, N and key in a number to switch to a nonstardard view, but I've found a way around it.

I added the View Manipulation command

"Set Graphicd View = to Construction Plane to my right mouse button.

Hi, if you want to assign work offsets to different views or planes, use the View Mgr -- on the status bar, click WCS, then View Mgr, you can assign offsets to views or make all the copies of views that you need and assign offsets to them (also change the origin too, if you want).

Also, you can get separate Cplane and Tplane menus if you want. Click the "!" button on the status bar; right-click in the window which list the current options; select Insert panes; select Tplane and/or Cplane.

HTH,

Robert
