MasterCam X Hangs

X hangs when I shut it down. although it isn't present anymore in the applications it is still

running in the processes. This nuisence is causing me to be unable to rename files that were once open in the latest session of X and solid works is intrestingly the only software that locks up the machine when I try to start in this condition.

 

this is the only issue I've realized with X. It did it with the first release and now does it with sp1.

 

I'm thinking it's another damn Win XP Pro issue.

(compatibility that is)

go to your task manager....

hit ctrl+alt+delete

 

 

look under the processes tab for a mastercam.exe....click on it and hit end process..

 

i've seen it happen only a few times...is it still running after you exit normally?

yes, that was what I was trying to say. After exit MCX is still running in processes. ctrl+alt+delete is how I figured that much out. Been looking through search and still can't find anything close.
