Printing in SP1

This is what is happening while trying to print in SP1. Once I start to print my model loses surfaces. I have to re-open file to bring them back It was originally crashing everytime I tried to print a shaded model. This is crazy stuff. I would love the answer to this one CNC Software. Oh! I have tried turning off hardware acceleration but makes no difference.

Change your background color.

The color Black is defined by a 0(zero) which is

giving the print driver brain damage.

You can make a custom color that looks black and that will be OK, as long as its not defined as color 0(zero)

Hi gcode, That was mentioned on an earlier thread on this issue. I have done that already seems to make no difference only that X doesn't crash anymore I set the background colour to 1 then customized it to black. Doesn't matter what colour i use for the background the surfaces disappear.

it may due to surface problem.Analyse the surface for any internal sharp corners and intersections of surfaces and try to rectify it .

 

if it is a background problem means,while printing make an invert colour.

The EXACT same thing is happening to me!

 

No matter what I print, I lose surfaces randomly as soon as it is sent to printer. I have to re-open file to get them back.

 

Changed my background, surfaces are clean, and I have a brand NEW Quadro FX 4000 video card.

I have had this problem also since installing SP1. Screen/Regenerate display list brings my hidden surfaces back for me.

I am running a Quadro fx500.

Sounds weird but I'm glad to hear other people are having the same problems I was starting to wonder if these problems were something I was doing wrong but hadn't a clue what.

How can this be rectified. Its hard to imagine how something like this could get through in the Service Pack. I'm using NVIDIA GeFORCE FX 5700 ULTRA card.
