dialog box has changed

To all- I'm using 8.1.1. My dialog box has changed for File Save and File Get. Don't know why. Been using MasterCam for 9 years. First time this has happened. There is no area showing a Save button or the box in the lower left hand corner for types of files. No bitmap area showing for thumbnails. Any suggestions?

Are you also saying there are no Icons in the top bar?

Start/programs/Mastercam 8/CNCreg. select either Mastercam or standard windows style file get dialog. I'ts on a thread somewhere in here................

No Jay. What I'm saying is that when I go to do a File Save, the dialog box that comes up has changed. There is no space in the lower left hand corner for file types( MC8, MC7, GE3 or all files) nor is there a BUTTON to click to actually actuate Save. I can only press Enter to get Save. The same problems occur for File Get. Someone in the family did change the font size to Large fonts- this ihas been the only change.

I'm having a hard time duplicating this "large fonts" thing. How do you do that?

So font sizes were changed via the font settings in the Windows Display properties? Try reducing the size of the fonts to see it that corrects the problem.

To all who replied-

Thanks to everyone who replied to my question on the dialog box problem. I went into Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced-set the fonts to Small(other options are Large or Other). Seems to be working OK now. BTW my resolution is set at 1024 x 768.

The font selection can make a difference, too. Most notably, the Arial font is often between 110% and 150% of the 'standard' font size, so changing the Windows standard font to Verdana (or some other font) often solves that type of problem.

I had this problem also.... what i did was to strech the size of the dialog box bigger to allow my text size to fit

Dialog box problem: run CNCReg.exe
