Hello

Cutting a cavity that looks kinda like a PVC elbow sliced in half. Dia about 2 in. and about 4 in lenght

Surface Rough Pocket-set the cut Depths to -.700

Everything work as it should.

If I change my cut depth to anything other than

-.700

I get this Error....

Boundaries may not intersect, overlap, collapse,or be nested for z machining.

This happens, it seems like, all the time..

Help

Ok guys it seems to be working now, But I think there is still someting wrong.

Like I said earlier, I had this problem yesterday..

And I sent this program to another computer without changing anything, and it worked fine

sent the program back to mine and the Boundary error thing again!

The funny thing is the boundry is a simple rectangle 1 in over the part.

Thanks guys for your help

It's a common problem. Do a search to see who else shares your misery. wink.gif

The last time I ran into it, I was using a simple rectangle. I changed the depth and regenned the toolpath and I got that error. 4 straight lines...there couldn't be a simpler boundary. I filleted the corners and all was well. So far, that has always fixed it since then. Do a search for more methods of "fixing" it. I've typed them too many times already. biggrin.gif
