Illegal arcs?

Hi: all

 

I am working on a topographic surface. The finish

path I generated seems ok, but when I backplot, the tool stoped lots of times and in the same time I've got a warning: illegal arcs

 

Can anybody please tell me what's happend here as

I can't find any help topic to help me with this matter.

Not a serious player here, but I would look at the size of the arcs allowed by your post. I would also look at posting it with only linear motion and get around the error that way. You might also be able to change some filter settings to get the arc motion "smoothed" out a bit.

Look at your filter tolerance in the operation. Turn off filter and see if you still get the error. Problem is when you post will be huge so make sure you turn it back on for posting and make sure the post will lineraize arc after the limit set in the post.

There was an error when you crunched the NCI file.

 

 

Sometimes while multitasking an error will occur especially in Ver 9 doing a complex toolpath. Most of the time all you have to do is recrunch the NCI.

 

In other instances on surface/rough pocket, i will get those and have to go in there and change the last pass distance a thou or two.

 

I have noticed it more when I try to use finish pass and set the last pass to 0.
