X Backplot cycle time?

Is it me or is there no cycle time in backplot, I tried lathe but not mill yet.

On the backplot box that comes up you have an info tab hit that and the expaned box shows the toolpath time.

In the back-plot dialog box, click the double arrow in the upper left corner, then the info tab.

I tried that

all it has min max x y z and min max feed rate no cycle time.

Well Don on Mill there are 2 tabs. One says Details which has the X,Y,Z and then the other Tab that has INFO shows cycle times, FEED time, Rapid Time, Total time, Feed path length and all that. I would report it as a BUG to [email protected]

 

I just checked it on Lathe and got everything so not sure what is happening for you Don

altho X was boasted as less mouse clicks I dont remember having to click click in V9 for cycle time

I uploaded the MCX file that is giving me problems in the FTP site in the MCX folder the file is 0690909.MCX if anyone wants to look at it.

Don,

 

I opened your file and noticed that the cycle time are not being shown. I also noticed, and it could just be me, that the moves to and from toolchanges are "infinite". That's a new one. Fire this file off to [email protected], maybe they can explain it.

I did a "Select all operations"-> right-click selected->Edit common parameters->Home Position->From Machine->Apply->OK->Regen Dirty

 

Seems to have cleared it up and cycle time shows up on back-plot too.

Don,

 

The Lathe Canned Rough (Tool #2) is somehow not regen’d properly.

I loaded the MCX and saw tool path going off the screen. I kept unzooming and still saw toolpath going off the screen. Then just stated turning off the toolpath visibility of each oper. in the program. Turned off the 2nd oper and found the culprit.

Another way would be to backplot each oper and you’d find that only the 2nd oper displays this “infinite” behavior.

Re-gening that op was all that was required .

Of course re-gening all also works.

 

Did this file originate in v9 ?

I'm trying to find out how this happened so we can get it submitted to QC.
