Step files into MC X

Hello everyone, been reading alot of topics and have learned a few things here.. Thanks.

 

With that note, I'm having step issues between MCX(latest patches) and Pro(the lates ref and back one). Most of the files I get, I need to recreate faces(cuz their missing or self intersecting,even rebuild half the model,and sometimes come in as sheet bodies.At times can't even bring in the files. I know with the latest rev of pro, they can export out as a parasolid but not all of our guys have the lates rev.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations, suggestions I have tried some setting in MCX but doesn't resolve all problems. I'm trying to reduce our time we spend on rebuilding database we get.

I am pretty sure there were some issues with STEP that are being resolved in MR1.

When was MR1 released for Ver X. I havn't heard or seen anything yet.
