SPACEBALL / BACKPLOT PROBLEMS

I just updated to MR1/SP2.

My problem is with my Spaceball 5000(3D connexion). It is now very slow and unrespondsive. It worked fantastic before I updated to MR1/SP2. Has anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions for a fix.

Also, my backplot has went straight to Hell. I just get a flashing screen as it backplots. This also worked fine before update. Any suggestions?

What type of video card do you have? if you have a Nvidia Quadro FX graphics card, go here for help:

I'm running the Spaceball Space Pilot and have not experienced any problems.

No problems with my 5000. Haven't tried backplot yet.

Ken, I went about three months with it working fine, then all of a sudden I started to get the jumpy ball. Left unattended in a matter of minutes my part would flip off of the screen.

 

Now it seems to be steady again. Have you noticed this or prior to MR1 with Sp1 maybe?

There is a firmware update available from 3dconnexion that might help with your drifting ball problem

I am with Ken as mine woks well to along with the pilot the Space Travler to.

Been using it with MR1 during testing for the last few weeks.

It only happens when I have a ton of graphics on the screen. Mostly big files... mostly.

Mine was the same as Gregs.

 

I ran an update anyhow seeing the driver was dated last month.

 

It is now at

 

5.5.7

3.2

 

We'll see how that goes.
