How to debug postprocessing on X?

I set fastmode$ to NO$ as a book dated 1997 recommended, but when I post, the postprocessor

does not display the first and last postblocks

used to calculate each line of the NC code.

How to turn ON the DEBUG Switch on Mastercam X?

There is a switch in the CD for that you must turn on to make it work. Spefically NC Output Mill there is a check for enalbe post file debugging.

if you set bug2 to a negative number, debugging will show you the entire flow thru the post.
