NEW HIGHSPEED TOOLPATHS

I am curious about the new highSPEED machining that has just came out is this an add-on or do you have to purchase this feature, because the news letter that I received doesn't speak of purchasing it. It sounds like something we would be interested in.

The new toolpaths are available in MR1, if you are on maintenance and have installed the latest update, you should have them.

Standard in MR1 I believe. It shows up in my toolpath menu.

Yes I have MR1/SP2 but I can't find the core roughing highspeed.

If you go to the toolpaths tab at the top and pull it down. They should be between Surface Finish and Multi-axis

Ok I found it, but it give me an error when I went to select the highfeed button.

the high feed I have yet to use, but I think you have to set how it works.

 

Check the help section and see what it says.

I'm not sure that will cover it but this exact problem has been talked about and there is a solution around here but I have not been able to find it yet.

 

This is why a succinct description in the title of the subject is nice.

I had the same problem because I had my operation defualts in a different drive (networked) than the C: I copied the new toolpaths from the C: and put them where i wanted them and all was fine

ok I looked in the ops file and I seem to have alot of parameter files is this normal.

You only get the new paths if you have a mill3 liscense.
