thanks Sala.
Are you using anything?
Is nextengine decent?
does it require some sort of verisurf software that is expensive?
for accuracy i would say plus or minus .001 would be sufficent.
Anyone using a 3d scanner to back engineer parts?
if so which scanner, and is there 3d party software required?
Any advice would be welcome.
we are a thermoforming house that duplicates crappy parts that are made in china. Yes I said crappy! we have to copy existing parts to accommodate existing tooling the customer wants to use.
I have had several files lock up verify in x5.The are not very large files with very modest finish toolpaths.
I am thinking that multiple containments has something to do with it.
I was issued a bug number by CNC. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into new weird verify situations?
by the way it is not because I am running out of resources.
2.8 dual core
win 7
12 gigs ram
some large quadra card
Any one having any issues with importing operations in x5?
these ops. are in the correct folder and have been updated.
Co-workers claim they are having the post change to another machine.
any info would be great.
I am still looking for a way to get a solid out of verify. I know I can make an STL but they are loose and work work in MC's solid layout.
I nee to make a DWG of say a straight walled part cut with a tapered endmill.
