filter parameter

I'm using mcx sp1 and recently started using the filter button because the programs were overloading our machines with points in the corners. I've set the filter parameters to .001 total and only allow it to create arcs in X and Y. Now my programs are violating my parts but with inconsistency. Some parts are good, and some parts are bad using the same surface programs set to the same filter ratios. All these parts verify good in mastercam. The bad parts have largely been on our Sharnoa machines (Tiger 7 control) and the good ones on a Fanuc controlled Johnford. I don't know if that's a coincidence or not as I have only recently begun having this problem.

My supervisor suggested turning off the "create arcs in X and Y" button, thinking the problem is in the post. Anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks!

When X first came out, we had problems with arc moves and had to create arcs no bigger than 180 degrees. That was a post edit. That fixed the problem but I don't remember exactly what the problem was. We still post 'em out like that and all is fine. confused.gif
