Hole table, c-hook,I check this, is good option and thanks for this inf. But in this particular case I am looking for the option which help in finding the min and max rad in the pockets so I can know which min dia. of the end mill I have to use.

I know this will save the time of the many people

There is a scanarcs c-hook in V9... It won't work in X (I just tried). Different idea then the other c-hook, but you could make it work to figure out what the smallest radii in the file is. It will select open radiuses also. Sorry that I can't help you now, but it's quitting time here.

You can do this In Mcam 9 Analyze- Surface - Curvature - Surfaces- then window the hole lot and press "DONE" then press "Doit" easy. Why the hell they haven't got this GREAT feature in Mcam X

is beyond me. I want it back please. smile.gif

is any C-hook which anaylse the part and give you min. rad.

I don't know of one, so I made one.

On the user FTP site in the C-hooks folder you'll find ArcSize.ZIP

It reports on the Min/Max Radius found by looking at all the Arcs in the current geometry selection set. It only looks at 2D arcs, not splines or surfaces, etc.

No warranty, expressed or implied is made for the usefulness of this utility. wink.gif

Though it did appear to report proper information in my (limited) testing.

I try this c-hook,It work.

Only limitation in this c-hook is, that it analyse all the arc. It will be better if it give only internal arcs which will helpful to decide end mill size. If I fillet the corners like .005 to break the burrs it taking those radius also. If it pick internal arcs that will be better. For deburring purpose is the external arc.

If you please change this c-hook to pick only the internal arcs that will be awsome.

thanks in advance

Rakesh,

When you perform a translate or someother function that you have to pick geometry for and then need to do something with the same geometry again, the all-result c-chook will repick all resulting geometry without having to pick it all again.

Install it a try it, you'll see very quickly what it does.
