We have two mori lathe with twin turrets. the controls are Fanuc 15 AT. We modified the post from PMLfanuc. the main things are the bottom turret work on X+ instead of X-. The G2s and G3s need to switch over each other for the bottom turret. We use manual entry to do the synchronizing to output Ms codes.

just for discussion:
In order to obtain the form deviations (straightness, flatness, roundness and circilarity),two steps have to be gone through:
step#1 - collect data
Generally the data collected by indicator or CMM or whatever are not the deviation value.
step#2 - process data
setting up two "parallel" geometries on data themself by NIMMAX principle, then the distant between the two"parallel" geometries is the deviation value.
Parallelism and Flatness have nothing to do each other no matter what how perfect they are.
regards!
1, Number all the dimentions on your print.
2, Analyze your model one by one in accordance with numbers on your print. you get one dim analyzed, you highlight the dim on print.
3,Features are not dimensioned on your print means they are not required for inspected, just cut with the model. Anyhow you need to analyze small corner to select cutter.

Wonder what a CNC programmer in China earns?

1 bowl of rice??????
----------------------------
Maybe half bowl of rice.
Let's say one meal would cost $10 US in North America, the half is $5, times 8.25 should be 41.25 RMB (Chinese money yuan), times 2080 hrs should be 85800 RMB, say, $10400 US. this is what they making there in China.
Listen, this is not a small number for people living in China.
More Qs?
the other way you can do is adding one or more points before and after geometry chain. in this way you can lead your tool (boring bar) along the route you want.
If only a few dims need to do, you can do them as somebody told above by setting Cplane respectively; if a lot of dims need to do, it will get a messy to dim them in 3D, I would do a solid layout and then dimesion them in 2D.
