Making my own posts

Is there anywhere I can go or someone I can talk to about creating my own posts? I would like to try but I have limited seat time with MCX. I try to get in as much as possible. Just now starting to learn the ins and outs of it but would like to be able to creat my own post when we get a new machine. Any help would be great.

Yeah look at modifing posts and get that down then you might think about creating your own. So 6 months later you problay have something and no I am not kidding. To start from scratch and make it will require a complete learning of the MP language, it's syntaxs, expressions, then you need to learn how to handle the NCI data, the Machine definitions(NEW to X) and if you want any other stuff like say 4th and 5th axis then you need to learn the Complex math expression and math varaibles required to make all of your vector calucations as well as other things including poivit point, then what if you want probing and custom drill cycles. So you can take a the GENERIC 5 axis post and MPMASTER and suit them to your needs to spend alot of time reinventing the whell your choice and good luck.

There is the Post Reference Guide that is available. There is also a V9 Post CD disc, should be avaialable thru your reseller for a nominal fee. The X version of this is as of yet unreleasesd.
