It's almost design time! MCam is a good way to get that 9 year old to do something different on the computer besides play games. Make templates for sketching and sawing or let the lad be a "button pusher" like us and cut the whole car! Woo Hoo!

I am a Webelos Leader, I was planning on cutting a face on my car. There was topic 6 months ago or so that somebody had a MC file of face, I think that I still have it on some computer. I don't like it when the parent does all the work on a pinewood derby car, in my case it is I feel that it is OK, my boy is only 11 months old. I thought that have a face milled on a car would be a good discussion piece.

of his pinewood car.I have the MC8 with all the cutter paths for anyone who wants it....

(Don't laugh at my speeds and feeds, I cut this one on a three axis knee mill)!!
