Sending files to machines

Does everyone use MC to send NC files to machines? And if so, does anyone have the problem of the window not closing right away after sending the file? It takes about 15 seconds for the "file sent" window to come up after sending the file. AND do you think its possible we can have the window close on its own after sending?

nope, we use Cimco DNCMax, awesome system.

I push and pull from the machines using EFTP Server

I use MC to send nc to machine.

The window should stay until file is sent and then reverts to the previous window immediately.

I have never had it hang at the end.

Does your nc file start and end with the % sign?

when you say that you use MC to send files, do you mean the Mastercam X Editor ? or by using the comunications option from the post page.

of the standard comunications option from the comunications option button that is added to the bar like in V9

Hit esc once as its hanging there and it will send it right away.

Sometimes as your hitting esc though it happens to be when mc decides to send it and you

Screwed up the transmission and you have to go through the whole process again.

 

I ditched the whole thing and use an ftp / ethernet now.
