I am getting a 5259 alarm "Sequence label over"

"The number of sequence names has exceeded 31 in program selection in operation method B."

Then it says " Reduce the number of sequence names used. Sequences to which jump is made using the GOTO or IF statment must be assigned with sequence names. However, other sequences may be assigned with sequence numbers"

HUH!!!

What is the diffrence. Can someone tell me what I can change to make this work? banghead.gif

This looks a little odd

“IF[VNTOL EQ 0] NA10

M64

NA10 IF[VATOL EQ 1 ] NB10”

What exactly are you trying to do here? I assume you are avoiding the recalling T# alarm. What is the tool “active” & “ready” at the time of the alarm?

I think that the machine will stop on the first example it finds of what it is looking for. If so, you could just put NSKIP or something after the tool change and put IF[VATOL EQ XX]NSKIP and the machine will theoretically just go to the next one. That might be a little scary, though...

I have no idea. The post was written this way before I got here. If there is another way to begin each tool I will try it??

VATOL is actual tool in spindle

VNTOL is next tool ( in ready pot)

M64 is next tool return (incase wrong tool in ready pot)

it is a way to make sure you have the right tool in the spindle on restart.

you can do the same with FANUC just #'s instead of letters

I assume this is on a horizontal

you can change your operation method I have never had this problem
