Solids Error

I am creating a part as a solid in MXC. It is a boring bar holder I am building to attach to a Digibore boring head. I created the hole for the boring bar, and the 4 holes for the bolts that will hold the attachment to the head. Because of the layout of the screw patter, the 4 bolt holes intersect with the thru hole for the boring bar. So I am going to counter bore them deep enough to clear the boring bar thru hole, but I keep getting this error when I go to create it.

 

 

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll usually get this error when your cut, or remove would separate the solid into multiple pieces.

I get this error sometimes when my model has edges that are co-incident with other edges, I usually have to change my model ever so slightly to move things around, .0005" or so.
