Video Drivers - Dell M90

Hi Guys,

 

We are looking for a better video driver for our Dell M90 Laptops. We tried running the install package for the newest drivers off the Nvidia website and the install package just aborts with a message about "no compatible drivers found". The current driver that shipped with the computer is 84.29. Any help would be appreciated.

Video drivers for notebooks is a problem that jsut keeps on giving. The real sucky part is that for NVIDIA cards it's only the .inf file that keeps you from using the latest driver.

 

This site LaptopVideo2Go has 'corrected' .INF files that include notebook cards every released NVIDIA driver version, plus links to the driver installer. To use the .inf, all you do is download the driver pachakage you want to use and replace the driver package's .inf file with the corrected one from that site, then install normally.

 

I used .infs from that site to get 84.26 running on my Latitude D800 with it's FX Go5650 and on my training labs's Asus notebooks with thier FX Go6600s.
