Stage tools

Has any one had any trouble with posts staging tools?

The machine at home will stage the tools in the program just fine.

Same post, same .Mc8 file, different Computer,

will not stage tools.

 

Is Cache on the chip set a factor?

Post controls it. make sure you copy the post from the good sytem into your home pc

A version of V8 Mp.dll did not handle the bldnxtool set in the pq postblock. Two options - update your Mp.dll to the latest (Patches) or initialize bldnxtool to 1 (bldnxtool : 0) up where other variables are initialized.

I recently found myself having to re-install v8.1.1 from scratch. After posting out a program I noticed it staged the tools always to T0. After searching the forum I saw I needed to download the patch mpv821.exe. After I downloaded and installed this patch, I started getting posting errors. It told me I needed to run updatev9pst (or something to that effect). All the errors seemed to mention V9, when I was updating V8.1.1. After reading this thread, I just defined that variable in the post and that fixed it. But I am curious why the patch did that. After uninstalling and reinstalling MC everything was fine (after changing that variable).

So you are saying you had to make changes inside the post its self?

 

This is funny, My system at home has no problem at all, the machine at the company I am working with (using the same post)stages the tools to T0 just as you said.

The only difference is at home it's XP Pro.

At the company's system it is Win Me.

 

I told them to try a fresh Install and let me know what happens.
