Nested Subroutines

I've tried the latest mpmaster post, and it handles subprograms fine. What I need though is for the post to handle NESTED subprograms. For example, I have a plate with three groups of identical cavities in clusters of eight. I can program one cavity and use the tranform toolpath to get the array of eight, but each group of eight is on another symetrical pattern that I would like to use the transform toolpath on as well. I need to transform a transform toolpath. The mpmaster and fanuc posts show an error saying that they do not support nested subprograms. What do I do other than buying a memory upgrade for my machine?

Thanks,

Paul

I used to do nested subs on a xxxxor control and it was really easy to do it manually. The reason I did it manually is so I could write the general contour in master cam, set the parts up on the table, indicate their position and loop it to the positions. I had sometimes one outside shape and 5 inside shapes per part and the xxxxor was a memory wimp.

I would do two contours (one outside and one inside) and nest, rotate, rotate, etc., nest, etc.

It got tricky when I ran out of fixture positions and had to start using G92! With more memory I would have set the machine up first, indicated the parts and translate to the positions in MC.
