Avarillas,

If you are getting a warning about "invalid axis combination" you need to go to the Axis combination button (seventh button from the left) on the top of the Machine Definition Dialog box and make sure you check the appropriate boxes. For a Haas 4 axis machine you should have-

Table Group

x Machine X axis

[]Mill Machine Table

x HMC Rotary "B" axis

x Mill Fixture/holder

Spindle group

x HMC Y axis

x HMC Z axis

x Tool Spindle

Notice that the mill machine table is unchecked, but the B axis (or A if that what you've got) is checked and there is a fixture/holder component mounted to the rotary axis.

The Axis Combination button will let you change/edit your axis combinations.

I have also noticed that I get an invalid

axis combination if I try to look at axis combinations before the machine is saved -

if I go out of machine def and then come back in

it will show combinations - also if you put terminator such as a table then put something

like an A axis with a chuck as terminator on top

of this table make sure the table is unchecked

when looking at axis combinations
