post editing question

How do I get the post NOT to output the G97 line the the G96 line? See below!

The Okuma post we use has this switch,

why would you not want the G97?

I like it on our big lathe to get the chuck rolling before the tool gets to the point.

I have small lathes and it gets the operator confused when he sees the spindle speed defined two ways.

thats what I mean wouldnt you want the G97 to turn the spindle on then go into G96 when you are at the part so it doesnt wind up and down rpm on the way from home and to home?

I feel bad because I use to teach and be so patient. But there comes a time when you fill up with the BS. I had a guy complaining the other day and I told him why dont you go home and I will set it up. He thought I was kidding!
