Microsoft handed the Cad/Cam world the shaft

when it dropped OpenGL supoort in Vista.

Why would anyone running Mastercam or SolidWorks

even concider running Vista??

There are some guys running X2 on Vista here on the forum, but they haven't posted much about it.

I would think that video performace would be extremely poor.

as Nvidia stuggles to overcome Microsoft's big FU

to the OpenGl world.

At this point in time upgrading to Vista is dead last on my things to do list.
