Wire Help - Change At Point - Taper

I have a simple contour I am working on that I need help on.

 

It is a straight contour to a 5 degree taper back to a straight. I have tried doing it every way possible (except a way that will work). I have a thread point going to a straight contour, change at point to 5 degree taper, contour a 45 degree then a 16mm radius out on a 45 degree to a point then change at point back to 0 degree straight contour to a stop.

 

The first contour is good, 1st change at point is good, the 45 degree, 16mm radius is good, but when I change at point the 2nd time it doesnt change immediately it finishes at the 5 degree then changes.

 

I was going to put it on the ftp, but it seems i cant upload to it.

I had to by-pass some stuff here but the file is on the FTP in the wire folder named Upper Blade.

Sumfin up with your file or my PC just dont like it.

Downladed it twice and it crashes.

Ive noticed most wire files do this on the FTP. Im not sure what is going on with it.

The same happened to me when I tried to up a file from EDMBOSTO awhile back.

Have you tried to insert a G38 before your taper amount is called out in your program.

 

Maybe you would have better success programing the part in 4-axis?

4th Axis is what Im about to try.

 

Del, could you get the file open? Hardmill couldnt open it.

toolman, it would open and then crash.try sending me only the geometry if you want.i am doing some 4 axis work right now myself.

toolman, i know it is not ideal but if you break the line .0001" were you want the taper to end and do a change at point at the new point you created it will give you your desired results.

I got it open this morning, I had to open a wire mach def then merge.
