I WANT TO SHUT OFF THE DEBUG OPTION IN MY POST.SO THAT IT DOES NOT SHOW WITH THE G CODE.DOES ANYONE

KNOW THE SETTINGS

Hi SMO,

edit the PST file and surch for:

 

bug1 : 2 #0=No display, 1=Generic list box, 2=Editor

bug2 : 30 #Append postline labels, non-zero is column position?

bug3 : 0 #Append whatline no. to each NC line?

bug4 : 1 #Append NCI line no. to each NC line?

 

Set BUG1 to 0.

set fastmode to 1

Also, go to 'Screen-configure-NC settings-post settings' and uncheck 'edit'

 

This is for Ver 8.1.1, I don't remember if Ver 7 is the same.

just add the line by itself

 

fastmode = 1

 

best location is anywhere above or below the bug options

 

this not only disables any bug options, it greatly speeds post processing

there has to be a setting in mastercam because i am still getting the debug info on the post

Double check directories to ensure that you are editing the post that Mastercam is using. (?)

What do you mean by "debug info"? Are you getting things like psof, pheader, etc. after the code on the same line? Which version are you using? If v9 are you talking about the .err file? Post a copy of a few lines of the output you're talking about and maybe that'll help us help you.

Have you contacted your Mastercam reseller to get support? Normally they provide support for these simple issues.

 

Also a simple email to [email protected] with your customer information and details, such as company name, address, etc. and SIM number should help.

 

Also, it seems that you are using V7 of Mastercam.
