Verification question

Hello all!

I did a search on this subject and did not turn up anything that addresses the question I have, but I will throw it out there just in case someone has some ideas! What I am tring to do is select several operations to verify and have the turbo tool setting turned on. I want to be able to verify all the operations except the last one and change to "simulate-tool" for just that operation. (without exiting out of verify) Is there some kinda work around for this? Dumb question but someones gotta ask it!

Do as dcapps said

quote:

1-Verify the first ops in turbo

2-Save as stl

3-Verify last op against stl

Verify the first operations, after it is done, save it as an stl from within verify. Exit verify and pick your last op. Select your stl as your file and then just verify the last operation.

Dan,

If you are using X. Select the first group of operations you want to verify. After it is done verifying, with the verification popup stil open click on the icon that looks like a disk and that will save it as an stl. Exit verify and select the last operation you want to verify and then go back into verify. In that verify popup click the yellow icon in the same row that the disk was on all the way on the left. Change the stock option in the upper left corner top "file" and then pick your stl you just saved and verify from that. HTH

You will like it once you figure out how to use the verify from .stl. (Thanks John Paris!) I use it all the time, but on my computer my .stl file doesn't have as fine of detail when I run it in turbo mode. I usually just let it verify normally on my rough ops, then save that to verify all my other finish ops against. I have also just figured out how to verify against the solid model that it is programmed from. It helps knowing that your program is correct, since we don't have any other verification software.
