More than 1 solid associated for verify?

Can you select two different solids so when you verify when running two different parts on a tombstone at a time you can see both parts?

I've never tried it. You may need to join them together as one to make it work.

No, you need to join them using boolean add

 

make sure they touch and join them, then you can use the entire assembly.

 

I thought this was supposed to have been done already multiple solids but it has not up to this point.

 

If you use multiple solids it gives you a blank the size of the block that would cover them all instead

just define you're table as a solid and boolean add them together. I do that a lot.

Is this issue being worked on now? We have weldments that are comprized of many welded with small gaps (weld clearance) that are imported.

If you add them all together doesn't that make it a pain if not impossible to translate them later if neccesary?

I get around this by copyinh them all to a differne t level and joing the copies, then using the WCS, getting around the part as needed. There are times I do need to have a second setup of the parts as well
