offsets above g59

i have 2 sets of programs- one set is g54-g58 and the other g59-g113. but i can only get it to go up to g59 using transform. They are the same programs just rotated 180deg. in a double vise (using mcam9). Am I out of luck or just missing something simple. Also is there a setting in mcam9 i can use for through the spindle coolant?

I am not sure about the your first question, but regarding coolant through the spindle, it is possible to use a misc variable to do this. The post is to be modified to make it work.

If you are trying to use more offsets than you have on the machine, you are likely out of luck unless you want to write a macro to store value and insert news back and forth.

 

I might suggest making the back spot G54 and the front spot G55 and just the the transforms handle the positioning

To the best of my knowledge, once you pass the number 6, the offsets change to G54.1 P1, G54.1 P2, G54.1 P3, etc. We use Makino's with a Fanuc control and this is how it works. Our extended offsets go up to P50.

Is this a Haas machine by chance? We use transform to program g54-59 and also g110-128.

 

Its been a while since I've done it, but in transform 0-5 for work offset will produce g54-g59 and 6-24 will produce g110-g128 using the standard Haas mill post.

yep, G54.1P1 for Fanuc. BTW this is an option that you have to pay for.
