Bounding Box

I nearly F#$ked-up the really expensive part just now! Why is it that every time a new version comes out, there are features that work just fine in the prior release, that are now problem-matic. How can anyone be expected to trust the software or the company that has created it/tested it, especially when it can’t even make a simple Bounding Box.

I saved my file as mc9 and check this feature on ver 9 , works JUST FINE on same model.

I just made a bounding box successfully in X2MR1.

 

Perhaps if you would like to have it fixed for X2MR2 you could elaborate a bit about what actually went wrong and how it happened.

Ok ,

It did Ok on solid model , wire frame to, but failed on surface model .

I am using this features all time and what really scare that it failed from time to time , when you not expected.

The function performs just fine on my parts. What specific issue are you having with it? I'm able to create Stock, a centerpoint, and lines and arcs.

 

Are you sure your 2D/3D switch is set to 3D and your construction plane is correct?

 

If you are set to 2D mode you will not get a "3D" box.

Send in the part file that is failing to [email protected].

 

They will need a sample so they can fix the problem.
