Multiple Programs in 1 file

Has anyone tweaked a post to output multiple machine programs in one file. I would like to be able to set the program # in mastercam, and then when I post have it put all of the programs ie: O0001, O0002 ect. into one file. Something like it does with sub-programs. We then would only need to send 1 file to our machines, which would break them into the individual programs.

Also is there even a place in x to give the pgm # like in v9?

Right click the toolpath group, Edit selected operations, Change program #.

would using manual entry work? You could type in m30;O0001

then it would post it for you like that.

I think that we could make that work. We use the Manual Entry all the time. We will probably have to make sure that we do a force tool change for the first op of the next program though. Why didn't I think of that thanks

P.S We should probably also add something to end the program correctly like

My post does all that for every tool, so I didn't think to mention it. The lines before the M30 should be easy to add in the post. Maybe you could also make the force tool change a default in your ops. I don't see a real problem with having that on all the time.

Have you tried to put your tool path in different group and NCI files.
