seeing red !!!!!!

upon merging geometry from another file,

the merged geometry turns red after any

additional function is performed.

the geometry analyzes as the original color

number and level but you can't change the displayed color red.

does anyone have this happen?

At the bottom right corner of the screen click on groups,you'll notice the merged geo is in a group of it's own select it and click delete group and th4e colors will appear normal. Or you can uncheck use group color in the config (colors?)

I have been using Troy's method to get rid of the group. I tried using Colin's method and it didn't work for me. I would rather have it default and not have to delete groups. I tried Settings >> Configuration >> Colors, and where group colors is I tried entity and group and both come in red.

I would think that you want to "use group and result color in Xform." Clear colors will get rid of that group (and result).

 

For Colin's advice, check "use entity colors when merging."

 

You'll see that these are 2 different settings.
