MasteCam Direct in Autodesk Inventor

Has anyone had any success in opening MasterCam direct while in Autodesk Inventor? I use MC V9 and Inventor 5.3 in Windows XP professional operating system. Every time I try to open MC from the tool bar, MC starts to open ,but then freezes up. This generates a report to Microsoft and forces MC to close. One time out of 6 or 7 tries, I was able to get the part in wireframe form (no surfaces).

Unfortunately, immediately after we released V9.0, Autodesk released Inventor 5.3. We use Autodesk .DLLs to read their Inventor files, but our V9.0 shipped being able to support only up to Inventor 5.2. E-Mail me ([email protected]) and I'll send you something you can try.
