Transform a manual entry

Why can't you transform a manual entry?

 

I have a group of tool paths and in the middle of this group of tool paths is a manual entry M00 (REMOVE CLAMPS),next I want to transform this group of tool paths but the Manual entry is NOT there.

Manual entry is not a tool path there is nothing for the system to transform. It is looking in the nci file for actual tool pathing numbers to move to new positions

 

You either have to create a new one or copy the existing and paste it.

Thanks John thats a pain because I'm transforming this group of toolpaths 50 times.

You know David just think out loud but if you did it using canned text instead of a Manual Entry, it would go with your transforms.

Thanks John but Canned text always goes in at the start of the toolpath after the tool change. I want canned text at the end of the toolpath.

The manual entry gives excactly what I want I just can't transform it.

Isn't there a selection box in the canned text dialog to tell it Before - With _ or After?

I don't know what he's using for a post in this case.

This feature may be very easy to add.

This would be a great feature if it was added, We are always breaking up our multiple transforms to insert comments, Full control of where it gets placed in the code would be most helpful.

I'm using the Generic Fanuc 5axis post.

Putting canned text AFTER does not make the canned text go to the end of the toolpath.It puts it after the G43 line.

You should be able to add a pcan2 to the post where you want it and THAT is the one that should be called when using after.
