Yes.

 

How many components make up your mold? 50? 100? I don't know, I'm not a mold guy. Say each component is a solid and you have 50 components in it. Now you want to create surfaces from those solids. When you're in the Create-Surfaces from solids mode and activate solid selection, your only option is to select each solid individually. You can't window, you can't use All Solids QM, you can't use All Color QM, etc. That's a pain. Now, imagine doing that for a file that has 300 solids. Yuck!

Too bad it doesn't work with all functions.

Create curves-all edges, along with EVERY other MC feature where selecting solids is an option, would be nice too. Very disappointing!
