According to a co-worker, all you have to do is go into the machine group properties in the toolpath manager, click Files and select Replace where the machine definition is called out. No need to copy the operations.

I've never done it, but he says he has.

This works if the 2nd lathe deinition is set up correctly.

I'm pretty sure you need to go into settings/machine defintion and reselect another post and save when asked.

Since this will happen again most likely needing to have another machine def. you might as well set one up for the 2nd machine.

I also believe it works best saving your Mastercam file and open design/then open a new file and nothing will be in your toolpath manager. Then create your new machine definition.

Then open your file with the toolpath and replace the definition.

This works best for me. Otherwise I have to fight with it to stick.

Then you could just do what Thad suggested.
