verifying with solids

Is there a way to change the color of stock in Verify mode when using a solid as stock, My stock is always white, while another computers is grey. I have tried changing the stock color in the "set colors" tab with no change. It will only change the colors of box round or .stl stock.

you can also configure it in the config menu under verify settings.

That works for all the other types of stock, but does not change the color of the solid when verifying??

Are you sure. I just tried it on a Solid I brought in from Solidworks and I changed the color.

All the solids I work with are created in mastercam, I can change the color of the solid when out of verify mode, never a problem. But every solid that I select to verify is shown in white during the whole verify process. I have changed every color in the "set color" tab and have changed them in the config also. but it always is white. I tried it on the any other computer in the company and cannot change the color either. Funny thing is one computer shows grey stock!

you are correct. I just created a solid in mastercam and I could not change the Solid stock color in verify.

I don't have solids here, so I am unable to verify your problem, but as for the difference in color you see on your co workers computer, I suspect it is due to either a difference in your light settings, or just the monitor settings.

Yes it seems his light setting are slightly different than mine. When I rotate the model in his computer it is white in some areas.

I upgraded to MR2, and the stock color can be changed.
