  1. Anyone ever use this control. It's on a Chinese P.O.S. lathe. Just trying to follow thier Manual on setting up tool offsets is a nightmare. The local representatve hasn't a clue either.
  2. I thought it was supposed to be January 2008.
  3. Duh-Thanks John. I will look at it. Apologies Mastercam.
  4. Probably will order books. Have used 5axis but only with Hypermill. I looked at the referance manual but there is no definitive informaton that walks me thru step by step. I really don't understand why I should have to order another book-surely this stuff should be explained in more detail. I do not see one step by step example for Multi-Axis.
  5. Are there any definitive examples for these toolpaths. I have looked through the recent documentation and I cannot find detailed information or examples. Do I now have to go and buy another book.
  6. I had a look a this file. I have found that when I collission check it there are no collissions but when I use the same STL file in Verify I get a crash.(paused on collission.)
  7. Andrew I had a look at you file. I used surface finish radial. I sent you an email
  8. J.D, Can you be more specific please. Is during a Transform operation etc.
  9. I am trying to create some very simple geometry in Lathe X2. I have a series of points and when I try to create line endpoint it snaps the first point and when I snap the second point the line is either horizontal or vertical, when in fact the line is at an angle.
  10. Yes if you input the rad it works fine.
  11. There is no corner Radius on your tool.
  12. Did you check the rough option under pocketing parameters?
  13. Rich, you are correct. I just created a solid in mastercam and I could not change the Solid stock color in verify.
  14. Are you sure. I just tried it on a Solid I brought in from Solidworks and I changed the color.
