Mr2 slow start

All of our Mr2 workstations seem to have a lag when opening. After MC loads, all goes dead for about 10-15 seconds, as if it is loading something. Then it wakes up and all is OK.

MR1 and Beta did not do this.

Anyone else seeing this? Or is this the new way MC starts?

Is that on a NetHASP? I've seen it do it that way.

Yes, but it resides on my machine, and mine lags also. Just started with MR2.

I installed a customer in the Cleveland area, and their Mastercam screen comes up right away. It does take 10 to 20 seconds though before you can do anything with it. Almost likes it's still confirming something on the license prior to letting you do anything.????

We are getting this with 2 workstations running MR2 in our office. Loads 2/3 of the blue title bar at the top, then part of the ops manager, then the rest follows.

 

Also if you resize the ops manager to show more of the ops page, there is a 1 second delay before the display updates. Again this is on both workstations of completely different specs.

You Might Try this.

Start Menu/control panel/Mastercam X Utility/

Uncheck > Show Splash Screen At Startup

I don't think the "Splash Screen" has anything to do with it. Up until the Mastercam screen is fully loaded, it seems to be a normal startup. Then the wait time begins.

 

Wouldn't you know, I put my NetHASP back on and it's there right now as soon as it loads. DOH?

I installed the new Vericut interface, and mine works good too.

Maybe it was looking for Vericut licensing...
